US fast-casual Tex-Mex restaurant chain Taco Bueno has chosen PAR Technology for modernising its operations.
As tech partner, PAR will deploy its point-of-sale (POS) and hardware solutions in all 140 Taco Bueno outlets to improve guest experience.
The integration of PAR’s systems is expected to enhance consistency and speed in customer interactions.
By using a single provider for front-of-house technology, Taco Bueno plans to expedite the rollout process, simplify employee training, minimise downtime and reduce complications associated with managing multiple vendors.
The partnership is also projected to facilitate quicker access to technological advancements.
PAR Technology CEO Savneet Singh stated: “Taco Bueno is a brand with deep roots and bold ambitions.
“With our solutions, Taco Bueno is getting a flexible, future-ready foundation that gives them unified control and visibility across operations. It’s built to simplify execution and scale confidently — without compromising stability.”
The move is part of Taco Bueno’s broader strategy to digitise its operations, allowing for the development of systems that can adapt to future needs while promoting efficiency and growth.
The solutions provided by PAR are intended to fit seamlessly with Taco Bueno’s current technology framework, reducing the complexity of transition and optimising overall costs.
Founded in 1967 in Abilene, Texas, Taco Bueno is owned by Sun Holdings. The restaurant brand’s menu offerings include tacos, burritos, quesadillas, nachos and chips.
Sun Holdings IT senior vice-president Jimmy Dang stated: “As we look to grow, it was critical to find a partner with the scale, expertise and long-term vision to support our trajectory.
“PAR brought that to the table from day one. Their technology is strong, but it’s the quality of their team, their service infrastructure, and their strategic approach that truly set them apart.”
