The agreement marks Uber’s first deployment of drone delivery services in the European market.

Uber has entered a partnership with Irish drone operator Manna to introduce airborne food deliveries in Europe, according to a report on The Irish Times.

The agreement will mark Uber’s first deployment of drone delivery services in the European market.

As agreed, the service will be introduced to Uber Eats customers in Ireland before expanding to other European cities.

Under the deal, Manna’s autonomous drone systems will be integrated with Uber’s international delivery platform and logistics operations.

Manna chief executive Bobby Healy was quoted by The Irish Times as saying: “Our focus has always been on building a delivery system that can scale sustainably across markets.

“Partnering with Uber allows us to integrate our technology into a global platform and expand into additional cities in a structured, responsible way over time.”

The collaboration will build on Manna’s existing activities in Ireland, where its drones already serve certain neighbourhoods.

It has already completed more than 250,000 drone deliveries across Europe.

Uber’s autonomous mobility and delivery president Sarfraz Maredia said: “Autonomous technology is shaping the future of delivery, whether it’s on the streets or in the skies.

“We’re proud to launch in Europe and excited to introduce this technology to more Uber Eats customers over time.”

The deal comes after Uber partnered with Flytrex in September 2025 to launch a drone delivery service in the US, its first investment in the sector.

The move aimed to reduce delivery times and costs while cutting emissions compared with traditional delivery methods.
