Dunkin’ Donuts has made its On-the-Go Mobile Ordering service available through Amazon’s cloud-based voice service Alexa.
As part of the integration, the doughnut house is allowing DD Perks Rewards members to place a mobile order for Dunkin’ Donuts coffee, beverages, baked goods and breakfast sandwiches on Alexa-enabled devices.
Customers can also link their DD Perks account and Amazon account together in the Alexa app to place orders on the Dunkin’ Donuts’ mobile platform.
Dunkin’ Donuts US digital and loyalty marketing vice-president Stephanie Meltzer-Paul said: “Our integration with Amazon Alexa is our latest innovation to better serve members of our DD Perks programme, which remains one of the fastest growing loyalty programmes in the quick service restaurant industry, with nearly 8 million members.
“As a brand, we are always looking for ways to fit seamlessly into our guests’ daily routines and provide new levels of convenience and speed.”
Established in 1950, Dunkin’ Donuts serves hot and iced coffees in regular, decaf and flavoured variants along with doughnuts, bagels and muffins.
