The arrangement combines Adnoc Distribution’s existing retail footprint with Americana Restaurants’ operating capabilities and multi-brand offering, with the aim of broadening dining choices at service station locations.

Adnoc Distribution CEO Bader Saeed Al Lamki said: “This partnership marks another step in Adnoc Distribution’s strategy to enhance customer convenience and grow our non-fuel retail offering across the region.”

The collaboration is also intended to back the growth of The Hub by ADNOC, the company’s destination-led retail concept.

Designed as a single-site format, the concept brings together conventional fuel services, electric vehicle charging, car care, dining, and lifestyle offerings.

Adnoc Distribution plans to expand The Hub to 30 locations across the UAE by 2030.

This initiative also supports the company’s target of doubling non-fuel retail transactions by the end of the decade.

Americana Restaurants’ brands will feature at multiple The Hub locations, providing customers with access to established dining names while travelling, refuelling or charging electric vehicles.

Americana Restaurants chairman Mohamed Alabbar said: “Americana Restaurants is proud to partner with Adnoc Distribution in a collaboration that reflects our ambition to bring our portfolio of iconic brands and world-class operational expertise to every high-traffic consumer touchpoint.

“As roadside retail continues to evolve, this partnership enables us to transform fuel and mobility hubs into vibrant destination experiences where customers can conveniently enjoy trusted brands, great food, and elevated hospitality on the go.”

In February, Americana Restaurants integrated Lebanese quick-service brand Malak Al Tawouk into its portfolio through two related transactions.
