Point-of-sale (POS) and business software provider Fortis Digital Solutions has launched FortisOS for restaurants and cafés in the UAE.
According to a press statement published by Zawya, the platform combines POS, kitchen management, inventory tracking, customer loyalty, and QR ordering in one system.
Discover B2B Marketing That Performs
Combine business intelligence and editorial excellence to reach engaged professionals across 36 leading media platforms.
It is designed for both single-site operators and businesses with multiple venues.
Orders placed for dine-in, takeaway, or delivery move through the same workflow. This removes the need for operators to use separate systems and logins for different order channels.
FortisOS also combines customer activity from QR ordering, websites, and in-venue transactions. It allows merchants to run loyalty schemes and identify repeat customers who have become inactive.
For customers who have opted in, the platform can prepare WhatsApp messages. It also tracks campaign performance and loyalty activity after messages are sent.
On the operational side, FortisOS updates inventory and margin data in real time.
At the end of the day, it reviews orders and payments, highlights exceptions, creates draft purchase orders, calculates tips based on configured rules, and closes daily accounts.
The system is hardware-agnostic and works on iOS, Android, and desktop devices. It supports LAN, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi printers, allowing venues to use existing equipment rather than proprietary terminals.
Fortis Group CEO Artem Zarubenko said: “Restaurant owners in the UAE don’t lack ambition but hours.
“Too much of their day goes to switching between systems, checking spreadsheets and reconciling the till, when it should go to their guests.”
