American fast casual restaurant chain McAlister’s Deli has promoted Joe Guith to the role of brand president.
Joe Guith joined McAlister’s Deli’s parent company Focus Brands as chief operating officer in 2014 and was promoted to the role of president in 2015.

In addition, Guith worked with Coca-Cola in various general management and strategy roles including vice-president of global business development and vending operations. He also worked as YUM! Brands’ south territory general manager.

Headquartered in Atlanta, McAlister’s Deli currently operates more than 400 restaurants in 28 states serving sandwiches, stuffed potatoes, soups, desserts, salads and McAlister’s Famous Sweet Tea to customers.
Apart from dine-in and take-out service, the restaurant chain also offers catering services including sandwich trays, desserts, box lunches and a hot potato bar.
Focus Brands franchises and operates more than 5,000 locations including cream shops, restaurants, cafes and bakeries in the US, Puerto Rico and 60 other countries.
Brands operated by the company include Carvel, Schlotzsky’s, Cinnabon, Moe’s Southwest Grill, McAlister’s Deli, Auntie Anne’s and Seattle’s Best Coffee.
