Of the industry's total hiring activity, the highest number of new job postings were for Food Preparation and Serving Related Occupations, which accounted for 44% of the total new job postings in Q2 2023 and were up by 111% year-on-year. Second highest were Management Occupations, which accounted for 9% and rise by 467% year-on-year, and third highest were Healthcare Practitioners and Technical Occupations, which were 100% of the new job postings and 900% higher year-on-year.

The highest number of jobs were posted by AmRest Holdings with 67, followed by Community Options with 37, while the highest increase was at Starbucks at 66%.
