Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Asia-Pacific with a share of 45.83% in May 2022, a 120% rise over the previous month. Database and Network Administrators and Architects came in next, claiming a share of 43.75% in May 2022, marking a 250% month-on-month increase. In the third place was Computer and Information Analysts with a share of 6.25% in May 2022, a 50% rise from April 2022.

AmRest Holdings posted 40 IT jobs in May 2022 and registered an increase of 300% over the previous month, followed by HelloFresh with 4 jobs and a flat growth. Delivery Hero with 2 IT jobs and Minor International with 2 jobs, recorded a 100% rise and a 60% drop, respectively, while recorded a flat growth with job postings during May 2022.
Country-wise composition of IT hiring in Asia-Pacific’s food service industry
Macao (China SAR) commanded a leading presence in the region’s food service industry IT hiring activity with a 54.17% share in May 2022, a 333.33% increase over April 2022. India featured next with a 29.17% share, up 250% over the previous month. Thailand recorded an 8.33% share, a drop of 33.33% compared with April 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in May 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 85.42%, up by 192.86% from April 2022. Entry Level positions with a 14.58% share, registered a growth of 133.33% compared with the previous month.
