Top five food service companies in North America’s IT recruitment activity in September 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average growth of 50.44% in the overall IT recruitment activity of North America’s food service industry during September 2022 over previous month.

Aimbridge Hospitality posted 61 IT jobs in September 2022 and registered a decline of 17.57% over the previous month, followed by Compass Group with 31 jobs and a 3000% growth. Starbucks with 28 IT jobs and AmRest Holdings with 27 jobs, recorded a 40% rise and a flat growth, respectively, while HEI Hotels and Resorts recorded a 27.78% increase with 23 job postings during September 2022.

Country-wise composition of IT hiring in North America’s food service industry

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s food service industry IT hiring activity with a 96.71% share in September 2022, a 33.93% decrease over August 2022. Canada featured next with a 2.96% share, down 35.71% over the previous month. Mexico recorded a 0.33% share, a flat growth compared with August 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in September 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 68.09%, down by 46.09% from August 2022. Entry Level positions with an 18.75% share, registered a growth of 83.87% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 13.16% share, down 9.09% over August 2022.
