The venue has undergone a “significant” internal refurbishment. This includes new décor, fixtures, upholstery and flooring throughout the building, with the aim of updating the “look and feel” of the club.
Externally, the Central Social Club now features updated signage and a full repaint of the property. The existing beer garden has also been refreshed as part of the works.
Post-refurbishment, the pub is offering a wider range of drinks, with a line-up of draught lagers, stouts and ciders including Atlantic Pale Ale, Carling, Fosters, Guinness, John Smiths, Madri, Magners and San Miguel. A selection of soft drinks and wines is also available.
Riley-Smith said: “We are absolutely delighted to have reopened our doors after the recent refurbishment, and I am so excited to be welcoming back both new and familiar faces.
“This pub is a real community hub, and I look forward to continuing to serve locals for many years to come.”
Riley-Smith plans to introduce a regular entertainment calendar including monthly live music from singers and bands.
The Central Social Club is owned by Admiral Taverns, which operates around 1,350 pubs across England, Scotland and Wales.
Admiral Taverns business development manager Mark Bromley said: “I am delighted to see the Central Social Club reopen following a fantastic refurbishment.
“Tom’s dedication and commitment to the pub have been clear throughout, and it is fantastic to see his vision for the place come to life.
“This pub plays an important role in bringing the community together, and I have no doubt that Tom will continue to make it a thriving and welcoming destination for many years to come.”
