Restaurant point-of-sale developer Adora POS has selected AI developer Voicify as its conversational voice AI technology partner to enhance its restaurant management system with voice ordering capabilities.
The partnership will enable restaurants to accept orders and answer guest queries through conversational AI, catering to customers who prefer to interact via voice.
Voicify CEO Jeff McMahon said: “Phone calls are a double-edged sword. A ringing phone means one more active order channel, but answering that call takes a staff person’s attention off in-store guests and order prep.
“A call that goes unanswered or to voicemail means lost sales and potentially lost loyalty, long-term. Voicify AI assistants automate phone answering so a restaurant never misses a call.”
Adora Point of Sale’s cloud-based management solutions for restaurants have integrated Voicify’s suite of voice technologies to facilitate conversational ordering.
The collaboration will benefit a variety of restaurant types, from fast casual to bars, and is scalable across both single-location and multi-unit brands.

This improves the guest experience by providing quick and accurate responses through AI, even during peak hours or when restaurants face staffing challenges.
Voicify’s voice AI technology is designed to augment restaurant staff by handling routine tasks such as taking orders.
The technology can also be quickly deployed, with the ability to quickly learn menus for accurate order processing.

In early 2024, Tso Chinese Takeout and Delivery also adopted Voicify’s conversational AI services to enhance their customer service.
The AI Answering system implemented by Voicify allowed Tso Chinese’s kitchen staff to concentrate on preparing orders while maintaining customer engagement over the phone.
