US-based foodservice company Aramark has secured a contract to manage food and beverage services at Harbor Yard Amphitheater (HYA) in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
As part of the deal, the foodservice firm will work collaboratively with HYA to develop a food and beverage programme. It will offer a range of local and on-trend menu options and amenities to customers visiting the concert venue.
The company will be responsible for various general concessions, clubs, suites and onsite catering, and special events at the venue.
Aramark Sports and Entertainment president Carl Mittleman said: “We’re excited to partner with the Harbor Yard team and are honoured to have been selected as the Amphitheater’s food and beverage provider.
“We look forward to working with HYA to deliver a line-up of dynamic food and beverage options that complement the overall venue experience, offering something for everyone.”
The company served as the foodservice provider for more than 150 sport and entertainment venues. With this expertise, it will offer HYA an enhanced food and beverage experience of the visitors.
Harbor Yard Amphitheater principal Howard Saffan said: “Aramark is the perfect fit. The Aramark team understands the need for quality, service and innovation, while focusing on locally sourced suppliers.
“Aramark creates unique food experiences that exceed expectations. That is exactly what we strive for at HYA; a premier entertainment experience memorable for all.”
The HYA is set to host an event in collaboration with Live Nation Entertainment and the City of Bridgeport in 2020.
Earlier this month, Aramark acquired app-based on-demand food delivery service Good Uncle, expanding its campus dining solutions.
