US-based casual dining restaurants operator Bloomin’ Brands has partnered with on-demand delivery service provider DoorDash to support its delivery platform.

The company currently operates an in-house delivery platform to offer delivery services from the company-owned Outback Steakhouse and Carrabba’s Italian Grill locations.

Bloomin’ Brands selected the delivery firm to serve as the exclusive partner for the next phase of its delivery services for the Outback Steakhouse brand.

As part of the deal, DoorDash will expand the food delivery services from the Outback Steakhouse locations.

Bloomin’ Brands chief executive officer David Deno said: “We’ve done a remarkable job growing our own delivery business, and DoorDash adds another layer of accessibility and convenience.
