Global fast food chain Burger King has added a new crispy chicken burger to its menu across the UK.

The crispy chicken burger includes chicken breast, iceberg lettuce, tomato slices and mayonnaise served on a brioche bun.

Burger King UK brand and communications head Soco Nunez de Cela said: “Burger King is delighted to launch the crispy chicken burger.

“We haven’t had the best reputation for chicken in the past but we are confident that our guests will absolutely love this new tasty treat!”

“The company has also launched a new advertising campaign created entirely by artificial intelligence.”

The crispy chicken burger offering is available at participating restaurants as well as on delivery platforms in the UK. The burger is priced at £5.79, which could differ at various franchises throughout the UK.

In June this year, the burger chain partnered with lager brand Budweiser to launch its new American brewhouse king sandwich.
