Fast-casual restaurant concept Chicken Salad Chick has announced plans to open a new restaurant in Brandon, marking its expansion in Florida, US.

To be located at 965 East Bloomingdale Avenue, the restaurant is the company’s seventh opening in the greater Tampa market and its 23rd restaurant in Florida.

The Tampa expansion is led by Tammy and Brad Cochran of Tampa Bay CSC, multi-unit franchise owners of the company.

Chicken Salad Chick founder Stacy Brown said: “I am so excited for the Cochrans to open their fourth restaurant. As long-time franchise owners with us, Tammy and Brad are truly part of the Chicken Salad Chick family.

“They represent the best of what we hope the brand can be, with their dedication to serving their guests and enriching the lives of those around them.”

Brown established the Chicken Salad Chick concept in 2008.
