Fast-casual restaurant chain Condado Tacos is set to open its 50th location at Lower.com Field in Columbus in the US state of Ohio.

The new outlet, situated at the home stadium of Major League Soccer champions Columbus Crew, will commence operations on 24 February 2024.

The restaurant will open an hour before the stadium’s gate times and will continue to serve customers post-game.

The restaurant is taking over the space previously occupied by The Pub at the stadium’s southeast entrance. It will feature a selection of margaritas and beers and its signature tacos, guacamole and food bowls.

The Condado Tacos outlet will initially cater to Lower.com ticketed events, with plans to extend its service to operate daily throughout the year.

In January 2023, Condado Tacos announced its expansion strategy, which included the launch of 12 new restaurants.

Of these, eight were set to open in new markets such as Ballpark Village in St Louis, Missouri, Charleston and Greenville in South Carolina and Louisville in Kentucky.

The company has announced plans to open at least four more outlets in markets where it already has a presence.

Founded in 2014, Condado Tacos has grown rapidly and now operates 49 restaurants across 10 states. The chain has established a strong foothold in metropolitan areas including Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Detroit and Indianapolis.
