UK-based coffeehouse chain Costa Coffee has expanded its menu with the addition of two mince pies.
The newly added items, the Mince Tart and the All Butter Mince Pie, will be available at all Costa stores across the country.
Costa Coffee explained that its Mince Tart is topped with a pastry star and a sprinkling of sugar dust. It is also suitable for vegans.
The coffeehouse added that its All Butter Mince Pie now tastes even better heated up.
Costa Coffee UK and Ireland Food Innovation director Naomi Matthews said: “Whilst it might seem a little early to mention Christmas, we just can’t keep these mince pies to ourselves, especially our award-winning Mince Tart.
“Available now in all stores, we’re spreading some festive joy early to get customers in the mood before our full Christmas menu launches.”

In September this year, Costa Coffee launched a Chrome extension, Pumpkin Blocker, to block all things pumpkin.
The new extension blocks and replaces the word ‘pumpkin’ with the words ‘Maple Hazel,’ including pumpkin-flavoured drinks, food, home décor and scents.
By installing the Pumpkin Blocker, users can have a pumpkin-free browsing experience while embracing the comfort of Maple Hazel on their desktop this Autumn.
