The feature includes a curated list of restaurant venues, including some “sought-after dining destinations”.

The feature integrates SevenRooms’ system into the Deliveroo platform, so bookings, cancellations and availability are synchronised in real time and managed in one place, without manual updates from restaurant staff.

The launch is part of Deliveroo’s strategy to support restaurants beyond delivery by helping them build in‑store sales and connect with new diners.

The rollout is the first major product link‑up since DoorDash’s acquisition of Deliveroo and SevenRooms last year.

SevenRooms co‑founder, vice-president and head Joel Montaniel said: “Restaurants thrive on the relationships they build with their guests. Bringing reservations into the Deliveroo app gives Dubai restaurants a new way to connect with diners and grow, while making it easy for consumers to discover and book great restaurants.”

Deliveroo Reservations is live in Dubai, with plans to extend the service across the UAE.

Deliveroo Middle East general manager Nick Price said: “The launch of Deliveroo Reservations aligns with our broader ambition to support the long-term sustainability and growth of the hospitality sector in the UAE, with Dubai leading as the first city to introduce the service.

“By expanding beyond delivery and into the dine-out space, we are creating new opportunities for our restaurant partners to drive in-store sales, optimise table occupancy, and connect with new audiences.”
