Deliveroo has introduced an in‑app table booking service called Deliveroo Reservations, allowing users to check live availability and reserve restaurant tables directly through its platform.

The service is being launched first for restaurants across London, with plans to extend the service across the UK later in the year.

The new function embeds SevenRooms’ booking and customer relationship management (CRM) system within Deliveroo’s app.

This partnership provides real-time visibility of available tables at a range of London restaurants, including Dishoom, Barrafina, Murano and others.

According to Deliveroo, the feature supports a streamlined booking process, including options for group reservations for up to eight people.

Users can also set ‘Notify Me’ alerts to be informed if a fully booked restaurant has a last-minute cancellation.

Deliveroo consumer and new verticals vice-president Suzy McClintock said: “This launch is about supporting restaurants to grow in new ways.

“By fully integrating SevenRooms into the Deliveroo app, we’re giving restaurants access to new customers and giving diners an easier way to discover and book some of London’s best tables – all in one place.”

Deliveroo said the move forms part of its broader effort to offer more support to restaurants beyond delivery services, including helping partners increase on-premise revenue and attract additional diners.

The launch is also the company’s first significant product development announced following DoorDash’s acquisition of Deliveroo and SevenRooms in 2025.

It also follows DoorDash’s introduction of in‑app reservations in the US market last October.

SevenRooms co-founder and vice-president Joel Montaniel said: “Bringing reservations into the Deliveroo app gives London restaurants a new way to connect with diners and grow, while making it easy for consumers to discover and book great restaurants.”

Earlier this year, Deliveroo announced that it is trialling an office catering service across London.
