US-based Korean quick-service restaurant franchise Flame Broiler is poised to launch its first double drive-through in Jacksonville, Florida.
The new outlet, situated on 103rd Street, will occupy the premises of the former Ying’s Takee Outee restaurant.
The opening is scheduled for 19 April 2024 at 4pm. From 19 to 21 April, customers purchasing any regular-sized bowl or plate will receive a complimentary mini chicken bowl.
Seasoned franchisee Jackie Grzebin leads the new venture, adding a fifth Flame Broiler location to her portfolio.
With four successful outlets already established in Jacksonville, Grzebin’s decision to open another restaurant in the area aims to reach customers who reside further away from the existing locations.
Grzebin said: “The Jacksonville community has been overwhelmingly supportive and welcoming since day one. Also, some of our employees have been with us for 12 years and we’re beyond thrilled to achieve another milestone together.

By GlobalData“With the newest Jacksonville restaurant, we are excited to continue to serve delicious food with integrity and heart.”
The restaurant’s core menu is known for its healthy and calorie-conscious rice bowls, starting from 140 calories.
The bowls are made with non-GMO [genetically modified] white or brown rice and feature a choice of charbroiled Angus beef, NAE chicken (available in original or Korean Spicy), or organic charbroiled tofu, accompanied by freshly blanched vegetables.
Guests can add Flame Broiler’s signature sauces: Hot Sauce, Jalapeño Hot Sauce, Seoul Scorcher and the popular Simply Magic Sauce.
Flame Broiler CEO and founder Young Lee said: “It’s been one of our aspirations to introduce our very first double drive-through location.
“Knowing the importance of healthy eating habits, we continue to work towards fulfilling our promise of bringing nutritious bowls to people at a convenience.”
Operating hours for the newest Flame Broiler outlet will be from Monday to Saturday from 10am to 10pm, and Sunday from 11am to 8pm.
In September 2023, Flame Broiler expanded its menu with the permanent introduction of Korean Spicy Chicken across all its restaurants nationwide.
