The restaurant also offers a Market Table, an indoor Bar Fogo for all-day happy hour, and dedicated private dining rooms.
General manager Merhawit Keleta leads the Gilbert team. She began her career with Fogo in 2004 and most recently served as general manager at the company’s restaurant in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Fogo de Chão CEO Barry McGowan said: “We’re thrilled to continue our growth in Arizona with our new location in Gilbert.
“It’s exciting to bring our immersive dining experience to Gilbert’s diverse and growing population.”
The Fogo Gilbert restaurant will offer a range of menu selections, including the company’s signature “Full Churrasco Experience” and Bar Fogo offerings. It will also offer all-day happy hour with handcrafted cocktails and South American wines.
In April, Fogo de Chão further expanded its reach in Chile by opening its second site in Santiago.
