The company said it is expanding its reach by partnering with both new and existing franchisees.

The restaurant brand noted that two of the upcoming venues in Tennessee and Florida are under construction while four additional locations are moving through the early planning and pre‑construction stage.
These projects follow recent openings and development activity in markets that include Fresno, California; Port Richey, Florida; and Bowling Green, Kentucky, along with further multi‑store development underway in Puerto Rico.
Golden Corral CEO Lance Trenary said: “With six locations currently in development and continued expansion in Puerto Rico, we are committed to working in lockstep with our franchisees to expand access to Golden Corral for new guests and communities.
“As we continue to expand into these new markets and beyond, we remain focused on delivering the unmatched variety and exceptional value that our guests know and love while investing in existing restaurant remodels, conversions, and other new development formats that create a strong foundation from which our franchisees can grow their businesses.”
For future roll‑outs, the company has assembled a mix of development formats intended to align with “today’s real estate environment”.
Its model set now spans purpose‑built restaurants, conversions of existing restaurant units, redeveloped retail sites, locations within travel centres, and a compact prototype with a smaller footprint.
Golden Corral has also overhauled its franchise incentive scheme.
The refreshed programme is designed to help reduce the upfront costs associated with opening new outlets for operators expanding with the brand.
Trenary added: “We believe that Golden Corral’s strongest growth opportunities are still ahead of us.
“By supporting our great franchisees, investing in smart development strategies, and staying true to the value our guests expect, we’re building a brand well-positioned to thrive for years to come.”
