Heritage Portfolio, the specialist events and catering company within Sodexo Live!, has extended its partnership with the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh (RBGE), Scotland for an additional five years.
RBGE has an option to extend the contract for two further years after that.

The extension, which came about via a competitive process, strengthens a partnership that was first established in 2007.
The extended agreement will include an investment of £1m by Heritage Portfolio into the venue’s facilities, ensuring the continuation of its services for guests.
The company will use locally-sourced, seasonal ingredients including organic certified produce grown annually in the on-site kitchen garden.

A planned redevelopment of the Gateway is poised to improve visitor experience, introducing a barista coffee truck, updates to the Gateway Café and a new exclusive events space.
The renovation will increase the Gateway’s seating capacity, introduce a new style of service and create an outdoor dining area.

In December 2023, Sodexo collaborated with Worldline and SV365 Technologies to introduce the UK’s first 24/7 automated food court at the Royal Stoke University Hospital.
The project aims to provide round-the-clock food service options for healthcare workers.
