Innovative Foodservice Group (IFG) has completed an acquisition of US-based JES Restaurant Equipment (JES).

The transaction marks the second acquisition for IFG as a Trivest Partners portfolio company.

Founded in 2008 by Vivian and Eric Smith, JES Restaurant offers equipment, supplies and furniture to the foodservice industry. The company is based in Greenwood, South Carolina.

“This partnership will generate even faster growth with access to a broader range of competitively priced products and distribution capabilities nationwide.”

JES Restaurant equipment president Vivian Smith said: “We are thrilled to join the IFG team and we see that this partnership will generate even faster growth with access to a broader range of competitively priced products and distribution capabilities nationwide.”

IFG plans to look for additional add-on opportunities to build scale and expand the presence of the company.
