British pub company JD Wetherspoon will launch its first pub at Manchester Airport, UK, in September 2026.
Named The Belle Vue, the 338m² pub will operate in the Terminal 2 (T2) departures lounge and will have the capacity to accommodate more than 300 customers.

Its design references the former Belle Vue Stadium and the wider sporting culture of the North West, with visuals showing a clubhouse-style interior mixing traditional and modern elements.
JD Wetherspoon CEO John Hutson said: “We are looking forward to opening at Manchester Airport. We believe our new pub will prove popular with travellers of all ages and be an asset to the new terminal.”
The Belle Vue is expected to be the final major food and beverage unit added under the airport’s £1.3bn ($1.74bn) T2 transformation project.
Manchester Airport chief commercial officer Stephen Turner said: “We’re very excited to be able to reveal more detail about Terminal 2’s new JD Wetherspoon pub The Belle Vue, which will encapsulate the spirit and traditions of sporting entertainment in Manchester.
“This will be the first JD Wetherspoon pub at Manchester Airport, and it is fantastic to have yet another household name taking its place among those opening units in the terminal, as part of its £1.3bn transformation.”
Last November, JD Wetherspoon unveiled plans to launch its first pub in mainland Europe.
The company said that it will open the Castell de Santa Bàrbera pub in the departures area of Spain’s Alicante-Elche Miguel Hernández Airport.
