Krispy Kreme has announced the launch of its Star Spangled Sweetness Collection, a new range of doughnuts designed to commemorate 2024’s US Independence Day on 4 July.
The collection, which will be available for a limited time from 21 June, features three patriotic-themed doughnuts presented in a custom red, white and blue box.

The Star Spangled Sweetness Collection includes the Firework Cookies & Kreme Filled Doughnut – a Cookies & Kreme doughnut dipped in red icing, decorated with a blue icing swirl and finished with a rocket candy piece.
The Cotton Candy Sparkler Doughnut takes the brand’s Original Glazed doughnut, dips it in blue icing and tops it with cotton candy sugar, and white and red butter creme.
The Freedom Flag Doughnut is an Original Glazed doughnut hand-dipped in white icing, with red icing stripes and gold and blue sprinkles.
Krispy Kreme will offer the doughnuts in a special six-count box at select retailers.
Krispy Kreme global chief brand officer Dave Skena said: “From backyard barbeques with family, friends and neighbours to lined sidewalks at neighbourhood parades, our Star Spangled Sweetness doughnuts make celebrating our Independence Day sweeter than ever.”
In June 2024 Krispy Kreme introduced four new Doughnut Dots flavours in the US.
Krispy Kreme’s presence spans 35 countries, with its network of fresh doughnut shops and partnerships with retailers.
The American doughnut company and coffeehouse chain has more than 14,000 fresh points of access.
