US-based doughnut and coffeehouse chain Krispy Kreme has announced the relaunch of its ‘Original Glazed Doughnuts’ to mark this year’s World Chocolate Day celebration on 7 July.

The popular doughnut will be available on 7 and 8 July.

For these two days, customers can purchase the Original Glazed doughnut, covered in chocolate glaze, from any participating Krispy Kreme stores across the US.

It will be available in-shop and for pickup and delivery while supplies last. Customers can also place their orders through the Krispy Kreme app or the website.

World Chocolate Day will be the only time that Krispy Kreme offers its Chocolate Glazed, which was originally launched in 2017.

The company said it has rarely relaunched the Chocolate Glazed doughnut.
