Kerry will pay $350m in cash to Green Plains, which is the parent company of Fleischmann’s Vinegar.
Based in Ireland, Kerry is a consumer foods group, while Fleischmann’s Vinegar is an all-natural speciality ingredients firm and Aatco Food is one of the biggest suppliers of condiments and sauces.
The acquisition will enable Kerry to support its foodservice offerings in developing markets and increase its foundational technology range.
D’Lucas intends to merge with American cuisine restaurant Nineteen61.
D-Lucas is a restaurant providing Latin-inspired dishes.
Both companies involved in the transaction are restaurant operators based in the US.
