Canadian restaurant chain Moxies has expanded its presence in Edmonton with the opening of a new location in South Edmonton Common, a retail space spread across 130ha of land.
This marks the fourth Moxies restaurant in the city and the first to showcase the brand’s modern design aesthetic, whose opening took place on 24 May 2024.

The new Moxies restaurant spans 8,200ft² and seats 290 guests. It features a variety of dining spaces, including a lounge, bar, and an all-season patio.
The interior design features a bright atmosphere with indoor greenery, neutral tones, and gold accents. The space is also equipped to host private events for up to 100 guests.
Moxies president and chief operating officer Joanne Forrester said: “We are thrilled to bring a stylish setting and easy sophistication to the Edmonton market, and to continue to deliver on what we are known for across the brand — exceptional hospitality and unforgettable dining experiences.”
Moxies is known for its diverse menu, such as the Chipotle Mango Chicken and the Vegetarian Power Bowl. The Blackened Mahi Mahi and Grilled Chicken Zen Bowl are also among the favourites.

Other cocktail offerings include the Ginger Peach Smash and Lavender Lemonade. Additionally, the restaurant introduces three new seasonal spritzes: the Hugo, Grapefruit Bliss, and Aperol.
Happy Hour at Moxies promises to be a crowd-pleaser with five-dollar beer and wine and ten-dollar cocktails, including the Smoked Old Fashioned, Espresso Martini, and Moxies Mule.
The restaurant will operate seven days a week, staying open late on Fridays and Saturdays to accommodate various dining needs, from lunch breaks to late-night gatherings.

Recently, Moxies launched its 2024 Summer Feature Menu, introducing eight new items available until 14 September 2024: five beverages and three dishes.
The new food offerings are the Citrus Habanero Salmon Sandwich, the Super Greens Salad and a dessert, the Churro Ice Cream Sandwich.
The five new drinks are the Grapefruit Bliss Spritz, the Aperol Spritz, the Hugo Spritz, the Cantaritos and the Madrí Excepcional.
