London-based café Squirrel has partnered with mobile and online technology provider Preoday to launch an online ordering service.

With the new service, customers will be able to place orders for delivery or collection through the company’s website or mobile app.

The café has two locations in the city, one near South Kensington underground station and the other at Market Halls Victoria.

Squirrel’s general manager Davide Fabriani said: “We believe in creating delicious, nutrient-rich options for breakfast, lunch and dinner and we have worked hard to create a truly unique offering and experience in store and for delivery.

“Using Preoday has allowed Squirrel to create an own-brand platform, to access new revenue streams and to offer a faster, more personalised service.”

“Preoday is an ideal platform for our needs. We can retain our own brand and customer experience and our customers get what they want and, because we are given full access to ordering data, we get to know them even better.”

Preoday’s CEO Nick Hucker added: “We love working with ambitious companies like Squirrel. We are glad to be a part of that growth story. Using Preoday has allowed Squirrel to create an own-brand platform, to access new revenue streams and to offer a faster, more personalised service.”

In a separate development, North Devon-based fish restaurant Squires launched a new click and collect service in collaboration with Preoday.

The new service is intended to serve the kind of customer base that prefers to take away and enjoy eating in the comfort of their home.
