SSP Group’s division SSP America has opened Shōjō restaurant location at Terminal C of Boston International Airport (BOS) in the US.
The restaurant is the first of three to be opened by SSP at the gateway over the next year. The two other locations include Temazcal Tequila Cantina and Tasty Burger.

SSP America will open Temazcal Tequila Cantina in spring this year, and Tasty Burger during next year.
Established in 2012, Shōjō offer tapas style menu items the Shojonator, Duck Fat Hand-Cut Fries, Monkey Wings, Shōjō’s Sake selection, along with specialty craft drinks and Tiki-style cocktails. It serves rotational menu seasonally to customers.
SSP America, business development vice-president Bob Stanton said: “SSP America is delighted to be opening Shōjō at BOS. Shōjō brings a truly unique and innovative concept with a chef-driven menu and creative craft cocktail programme – offering something for all passengers.
“SSP has worked closely with Brian and Brendon Moy to authentically replicate their famous Chinatown brand airside.

Last month, the German arm of SSP Group extended its partnership with German railway company Deutsche Bahn’s subsidiary DB Station&Service to expand its portfolio across Frankfurt, Hamburg, Hannover and Cologne.
The latest deal adds value to the previous agreements that include more than 60 new leases and 130 contracts with DB Station&Service.
