UK-based foodservice company SSP Group and Germany’s Berlin Brandenburg Willy Brandt Airport have opened new Burger King and Starbucks Coffee outlets in Terminal 1.

The airside Burger King restaurant, spanning 329m2 with a seating capacity of 125, is the second of its kind in the airport, complementing the landside location opened in December 2023.

On the other hand, Starbucks Coffee House covers an rea of 104 m2 and can accommodate 28 guests.

The landside Burger King, measuring 285m2 with 126 seats, was the first to open at the airport’s landside arrivals area.

These new outlets, which have created 75 full-time jobs, are strategically opened in time for the Easter travel season.

The venues feature digital menu boards and self-order terminals for a seamless ordering experience.

Airside Burger King venue boasts 12 self-order terminals, while the landside restaurant has an additional ten.

Both Burger King outlets offer a variety of menu options, including plant-based choices for flexitarian, vegetarian, and vegan diets.

Similarly, Starbucks provides a selection of vegan and vegetarian options and responsibly sourced coffee with dairy-alternative options at no extra charge.

The operating hours for the airside Burger King and Starbucks outlets are from 4 am to 10 pm, while the landside Burger King is open from 3.30am to midnight.
