British pub company the Stonegate Group is set to reopen the Slug & Lettuce pub in Solihull on 24 May 2024 after investing £630,000 on the site revamp.

The investment at the Slug & Lettuce Solihull site is part of Stonegate’s ongoing evolution and commitment to ushering in a new era for the bar chain.

The investment has facilitated a complete refurbishment of the Solihull site, including its expansive garden and terrace area.

The outdoor space now has a new bar and dining facilities, festoon lighting, luxurious sofa seating booths and a covered pergola area to create an events space.

The Solihull site is set to offer a new summer menu, afternoon tea and a midweek dinner and date menu to enhance the guest experience.

The investment in the Slug & Lettuce Solihull is part of a larger initiative, with £2m already allocated for the renovation of three key Slug & Lettuce sites. These include Brindley Place Birmingham and Deansgate Manchester, which will be aligned with the new brand vision.

In May 2024 Stonegate Group announced its plan to reopen The Grove pub in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England, following a six-figure refurbishment.

Set to open on 30 May 2024, the venue has been closed since November 2023 due to a fire.

The Grove has been completely renovated, with new windows, ceilings and an updated exterior.
