Thai Airways International (THAI) has entered a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with PTT Oil and Retail Business Public Company Limited (PTTOR) to offer THAI Catering products at Café Amazon.
Under the deal, THAI Catering and PTTOR established a joint venture, which will focus on developing new products, expanding distribution channels, cooperation in manufacturing technology, and promoting brand image.
The partnership complements the collaboration between PTTOR and THAI Catering formed in May this year, that involves five Café Amazon shops currently serving THAI Catering baked goods.
Under the new partnership, both companies will focus on expanding the service to 12 more stores in the near-future.
Earlier this month, THAI signed a MoU with Thailand-based major bus operator The Transport Company to offer snack boxes and beverages for first class interprovincial passengers.
This MoU is a part of the airline’s strategy to increase revenue from its profit-making business units.
