In a statement, the company said the platform is intended to help restaurants increase throughput by bringing drive-through operations onto a single, unified technology stack.

Toast Drive-Thru draws on the capabilities of Delphi by Toast, incorporating Delphi’s established drive-through hardware into a consolidated ecosystem.
The setup is designed so brands can manage their entire drive-through lane through one connected system.
Toast Drive-Thru features include point-of-sale-native software to support operations at high-volume lanes, along with AI voice ordering integrations.
It encompasses the use of dedicated drive-through hardware by Delphi and specific kitchen display system (KDS) enhancements to optimise kitchen assembly and load balancing.
Toast will also provide end-to-end “white-glove” offerings such as drive-through site surveys and design input, content services, and installation support.
Toast president and co-founder Steve Fredette said: “In the drive-through lane, every second matters.
“As one of the important service models for QSR profitability, brands are constantly being pushed to balance speed and guest convenience with efficiency. At the same time, AI is giving brands new opportunities to impact this equation.
“By seamlessly integrating POS, KDS, outdoor digital menu boards, and AI voice ordering partnerships, Toast Drive-Thru gives operators the tools they need to keep pace with peak demand today, and the flexible foundation required to adopt new innovations in the future.”
Toast Drive-Thru forms part of Toast’s Enterprise Solutions suite, targeted at larger restaurant groups.
The company plans a phased rollout of the new solution, starting over the coming months with brands that operate 15 or more outlets.
Recently, Ike’s Love & Sandwiches selected Toast’s enterprise technology suite for its network of 100 sandwich shops in the US.
