Wendy’s Canada is expanding its summer menu with a new strawberry salad and a lineup of seasonal beverages, including a watermelon lemonade and two fruit-themed Refreshers.
The strawberry salad features chicken, a base of greenhouse-grown spring mix, strawberries, corn, white cheddar and roasted pecans, and is topped with a sweet onion vinaigrette intended to balance sweet and savoury elements.

The restaurant brand claims that the Watermelon Lemonade addition combines “naturally flavoured lemonade” with watermelon purée and is served over ice as a seasonal menu item.
Both the strawberry salad and watermelon lemonade will be available for a limited time period across Wendy’s stores in Canada.
In addition, the company is adding its first refreshers range to the Canadian market. Two varieties, Peach and Tropical Strawberry, are set to be available later this month.
Wendy’s Canada vice-president and managing director John Mulvihill said: “At Wendy’s, we know Canadians are looking for delicious options made with fresh, high-quality ingredients.
“With the introduction of the Strawberry Salad and the expansion of our beverage lineup, including watermelon lemonade and our new Refreshers, we’re offering more variety and delivering the bold flavours our fans expect.”
In March, Wendy’s concluded two new franchise deals to open more than 60 additional restaurants across Mexico over the next several years.
