Restaurant chain Wendy’s has selected PAR Technology’s AI-based platform to enhance its customer engagement.

The fast-food hamburger chain will deploy PAR’s loyalty and offer solution, PAR Punchh, at its 6,500 locations across the US and Canada.

By leveraging the AI-based Punchh technology and the PAR Technology enterprise support offering, Wendy’s aims to enhance its loyalty programme with gamified experiences.

The platform will also help Wendy’s in offering customised discounts and exclusive promotions catered to specific consumer preferences.

The technology company added that the open architecture of PAR Punchh will ensure a smooth integration with Wendy’s current app and online ordering system.

PAR Technology CEO Savneet Singh said: “Loyalty is not a feature, it’s an outcome – driving more customer lifetime value. We believe that coupling our technology with our skilled team of loyalty strategists not only gives brands the tools to build guest loyalty, but also puts us in the driving seat with them to deliver results.”

In January 2024, American restaurant chain Bob Evans selected PAR Technology’s PAR Punchh to augment its customer engagement strategy.

In December 2023, food delivery platform DoorDash partnered with ParTech to create a seamless ordering environment.

DoorDash will be integrated with PAR’s Brink point-of-sale software and with MENU Link, a marketplace order management solution within the PAR MENU ecosystem, used for omnichannel ordering.

The partnership will expand PAR’s ecosystem with more than 500 integrations and optimise digital ordering and delivery operations in the US.
