Fast food chain A&W Food Services of Canada has expanded its beverage menu with the introduction of three tropical Mango Passionfruit drinks.

The line-up comprises three drinks: the Mango Passionfruit Smoothie, the Mango Passionfruit Shake and the Mango Passionfruit Icer.

The smoothie option presents a blend of mango and tart passionfruit with ice.

The Mango Passionfruit Shake is creamier, combining the same tropical fruits into a blended shake.

The Mango Passionfruit Icer provides a lighter option and is described as inspired by the traditional Agua Frescas drink.

The tropical beverages are now available for a limited time at A&W Brew Bar locations throughout Canada.

A&W Canada menu development director Karan Suri said: “When we began crafting this new Brew Bar lineup, our goal was to capture the essence of drinks you would find at a tropical summer destination.”

In May 2024, A&W Food Services of Canada and Pret A Manger (Europe) unveiled a development plan to expand the Pret brand in Canada, following a successful two-year trial first announced in June 2022.

During the first ten years of the expansion strategy, A&W intends to increase the number of offline outlets that sell Pret goods across the country.
