BJ's Restaurants has expanded its footprint in the US with a new venue in Brookfield, Wisconsin.

The new BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse is situated in the Bluemound Road retail corridor in front of the Brownstones Shopping Center.

The 7,500ft² Brookfield location accommodates 250 guests.

Its offerings include deep-dish pizza, a variety of handcrafted beers and Pizookie desserts.

BJ's Restaurants president and CEO Greg Levin said: “We are excited to open our first restaurant of the year in Brookfield, Wisconsin. Brookfield is our first restaurant in the state. We look forward to opening more restaurants in the state as we continue our national expansion.

“We remain on track to open two additional restaurants in the second half of 2024 and continue to build our development pipeline to accelerate restaurant openings in 2025 and beyond.

“Following the Brookfield opening, future BJ’s will be our new prototype that will cost approximately $1m less to build and provide greater operating efficiencies, while incorporating the best elements of our ongoing restaurant remodel initiative, including a new bar statement with the guest-favourite 130in television as a centrepiece.”

Established in 19678, BJ’s Restaurants owns and operates 200 casual dining restaurants across 30 US states.

In October 2023, BJ’s Restaurants expanded its nationwide network by opening a new location in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Located on 28th St SE at the Shops at CenterPoint, the new BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse covers 7,500ft² and can accommodate 250 guests.
