US-based dining and entertainment operator Dave & Buster’s has entered Australia by opening its first venue in Perth.

Located in the northern suburb of Clarkson, the site brings the company’s combination of food, bar offerings, and arcade-style gaming to Perth’s northern corridor.

The move extends the brand’s international footprint, following recent openings in the Dominican Republic, the Philippines and India.

Dave & Buster’s now runs around 250 venues across North America, the Philippines, India and the Dominican Republic under its two core brands.

The Perth launch forms part of a broader international expansion, with further locations planned across Asia and Latin America throughout this year, including in New Delhi and Mexico City.

Dave & Buster's International president Antonio Bautista said: “We continue to see strong global demand for immersive social entertainment experiences.

“Perth represents an exciting opportunity in Western Australia. Clarkson is a thriving, growing community, making it an ideal location to introduce our unique experience to everyone.”

The Perth opening was supported by local operator NightOwl.

Described as one of Australia’s larger hospitality and entertainment groups, NightOwl manages a nationwide portfolio of pubs, clubs and entertainment sites since 2008.

NightOwl CEO David Heaton said: “We're proud to introduce Dave & Buster's to Clarkson and the greater Perth community.

"This concept delivers a unique blend of dining, drinks and competitive social gaming that we believe will quickly become a landmark destination in the area.”
