Restaurant brand Del Taco has broadened its collaboration with ezCater, a platform dedicated to workplace food services in the US, to enhance its catering offerings in response to rising demand from businesses.

250 Del Taco outlets are currently accessible via the ezCater platform, with plans for a gradual introduction of additional locations set to continue until 2026.

The initiative is intended to serve as a significant channel for Del Taco, enabling the brand to connect with new customers while increasing revenue streams.

Research from ezCater reveals that 70% of employees who experience a restaurant's food at work are inclined to order from that establishment again in the future.

ezCater chief growth officer Cindy Klein Roche stated: “We’re excited to help Del Taco turn workplaces into a new source of loyal customers and growth for their franchisees.

“Their flavourful menu is a huge win for our customers. The craveable tacos, burritos and fresh flavors Del Taco is known for making the workday more enjoyable, and more productive!”

The partnership allows Del Taco to tap into ezCater’s extensive network of workplaces, facilitating the growth of its catering services.

Del Taco is employing ezCater's ezOrdering system to streamline online ordering on its website, as well as ezDispatch to link with local delivery services.

The brand has utilised ezCater’s two decades of industry knowledge to adapt its menu for larger orders, introducing options such as Build Your Own Taco Kits and Burrito Boxes.

Del Taco interim brand president Sarah McAloon stated: “This collaboration supports our broader brand vision of meeting guests wherever they are — whether dining in, picking up or ordering for a team lunch.”

In June 2025, Del Taco announced plans to expand into the Louisville, Kentucky area through a five-store development agreement.
