Mexican quick-service restaurant chain Del Taco has broadened its footprint in the US with a new location in Port Orange, Florida.

This is the brand's first venture in Port Orange and the second establishment owned by the Singh Group in the region.

The Singh brothers said: “The booming growth and culinary-loving community of Port Orange drew us to this location.

“We are honoured to share the bold flavours of Del Taco with Volusia County residents and are passionate about continuing Del Taco’s commitment to providing high-quality ingredients and freshly made items.

“Port Orange was the perfect place to plant our roots, and we look forward to expanding our footprint with additional Del Taco restaurants in the near future.”

The new venue, situated at 3815 S Nova Road, features Del Taco's Fresh Flex design and the bold and vibrant colours synonymous with the Fresh Flex style.

The location has dual drive-through lanes, an open-kitchen layout and order pick-up lockers to streamline the process for third-party to-go orders.

Del Taco's menu includes tacos, burritos, quesadillas and beverages, complemented by the brand's signature crinkle-cut fries.

The dishes are prepared in-house using quality ingredients such as freshly grilled chicken, carne asada steak, house-grated cheddar cheese, scratch-made slow-cooked beans, queso blanco, pico de Gallo and house-made guacamole.

In February 2024, Del Taco expanded its presence in Alabama, with a new Fresh Flex location in Opelika - the third location for franchisee and Alabama native Clay Gullatt.

The Pepperell Parkway location features double drive-through lanes and dedicated third-party pick-up stations.
