Texas-inspired barbecue eatery Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is set to return to Kapolei, Hawaii, under new leadership.

Located at 91 to 710 Farrington Highway, the relaunch reintroduces the brand’s slow-smoked cuisine to the area.

The menu showcases Texas-style classics such as brisket, ribs, pulled pork and smoked sausages, along with traditional sides.

Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants CEO Laura Rea Dickey stated: “We’re proud to reintroduce the Dickey’s brand to Kapolei with a focus on exceptional service, community involvement and authentic barbecue.

“The people of Oahu have always shown us incredible support, and we can’t wait to share our passion for barbecue with them once again.”

The restaurant company is focused on delivering an improved customer experience, prioritising quality and service.

Customers can opt for dining in, takeaway or delivery, with orders available via Dickey’s website, the Dickey’s app or third-party delivery services.

Dickey’s Capital Group CEO Roland Dickey stated: “We believe in investing in people and places where barbecue becomes part of the community’s heartbeat.

“Kapolei has always been a strong market for us, and we’re thrilled to support this fresh leadership as they bring Dickey’s back with purpose and energy.”

In January 2025, Dickey’s Barbecue Pit franchisee in Arizona, Gaurav Chaudhary, opened three new locations in Scottsdale, with plans to convert a fourth restaurant to the brand.

Established in 1941 by the Dickey family, the family-operated business has 866 locations across eight concepts in the US and internationally.
