Domino’s Pizza has introduced an updated version of its Tracker tool, aiming to give customers more detailed information on the status of their orders.

First introduced in 2008, the technology has tracked more than 2.5 billion orders since its inception.

The upgraded version now includes a redesigned interface, an updated ready time estimate and additional tracking functions, particularly for iOS users.

The revised ready time estimate is intended to show a more specific indication of when an order will be prepared for collection or delivery.

For Apple users, Domino’s has added Live Activities for iOS, enabling iPhone customers to follow their order’s progress directly from the Lock Screen without needing to switch between apps.

The company has also condensed and restructured the tracking stages, with extra detail at each step of the process.

Customers can see when an order enters the oven, when the driver leaves the store, follow the vehicle using GPS and view the delivery’s progress via a car-shaped progress bar.

Domino's global digital marketing vice-president Mark Messing said: “For 18 years, we've been providing customers with the ability to track every step of their order, from when it's placed to when it's being made, placed in the oven and then ready for pickup or delivery.

“Domino's was one of the first to launch what has become the gold standard in customer convenience across numerous industries."

The pizza chain posted higher sales and profit for the fourth quarter of 2025, supported by growth in order volumes and improved performance in its US franchise operations.

Revenue for the quarter to 28 December 2025 increased 6.4% to $1.53bn, up from $1.44bn a year earlier. Net income for the quarter was up 7.2% year-on-year to $181.64m.
