Just Salad introduces summer menu 2024 in US

The new options are Honey Crispy Chicken, Parm Crunch, Backyard BBQ and Caribbean Shrimp Bowl.

US-based fast-casual restaurant chain Just Salad has announced the launch of its new summer menu for 2024, which features four seasonally inspired salad recipes.

The new options are Honey Crispy Chicken, Parm Crunch, Backyard BBQ and Caribbean Shrimp Bowl.

Honey Crispy Chicken salad combines romaine, baby spinach, shredded cabbage, regenerative organic quinoa, crispy chicken, crumbled feta, roasted corn, crispy onions, sliced carrots and honey mustard vinaigrette.

Parm Crunch salad offers a mix of Gotham Greens crispy green leaf, rocket (arugula), regenerative organic quinoa, sliced grape tomatoes, sliced cucumbers, regenerative organic chickpeas, shaved parmesan, parmesan crisps and lemon basil vinaigrette.

Just Salad has partnered with indoor farming brand Gotham Greens to source local, greenhouse-grown lettuce for this savoury dish.

Backyard BBQ salad is made with romaine, crispy chicken, Tillamook white cheddar, roasted corn, crispy onions and BBQ ranch.

Caribbean Shrimp Bowl combines black lentils, regenerative brown rice, wild blackened shrimp from Tommy's Seafood, roasted sweet potatoes, roasted cauliflower, pickled red cabbage, Hass avocado and homemade spicy pineapple vinaigrette.

Just Salad emphasises its commitment to responsible sourcing by partnering with Tommy's Seafood for the wild-caught Gulf shrimp.

The restaurant chain is reintroducing its seasonal soup special, Chicken Poblano.

The limited-time summer staples also include pickled red cabbage and spicy pineapple vinaigrette.

Just Salad's summer menu lineup will be available in-store, online and in-app nationwide until mid-September.

Just Salad culinary director Jhonny Castro said: “We were inspired by memorable summertime experiences and fresh seasonal ingredients when developing the recipes for this launch.

“Adding shrimp to our seasonal offerings allowed us to enhance our menu with a seafood-centric protein that's both versatile and cherished, as well as explore new and exciting flavour combinations within our existing culinary categories.

“We're thrilled to introduce these menu innovations to our customers on the new summer menu."

In March 2024 Just Salad partnered with New York City chef Marc Forgione to introduce its new spring 2024 menu, which included the limited-edition Chopped Mezze salad.
