Loman AI, a Voice AI phone answering platform for restaurants, has formed a partnership with restaurant technology company SpotOn.
The collaboration will enable restaurants using SpotOn’s POS to deploy AI-based phone automation.
Under the agreement, SpotOn users can set up Loman’s voice agent to deal with incoming calls, including periods when staff are busy with in-person service.
According to Loman AI, the agent is designed to pick up calls immediately and manage routine requests such as phone orders and table bookings.
The company also says the tool can answer customer queries, process payments securely and connect with the restaurant’s POS [point-of-sale] system.
For restaurants using SpotOn, the integration is intended to reduce unanswered calls during peak hours, automate phone ordering and reservations, and ease pressure on front-of-house teams.
It also supports goals such as improved capture of inbound orders and higher average order values through AI-led upselling.
Loman AI founder and CEO Christian Wiens said: “The phone is still one of the biggest revenue channels in restaurants, and it’s been broken for years.
“This partnership with SpotOn gives operators a real solution. Calls get answered instantly, orders get captured, reservations get booked, and teams can focus on hospitality instead of juggling ringing lines.
“It’s a direct upgrade to revenue, operations, and guest experience.”
SpotOn users can activate Loman immediately by linking their account through the SpotOn and Loman dashboards.
Last month, Loman AI integrated with OpenTable, allowing restaurants to route calls to their OpenTable-listed numbers to an automated voice agent.
