US pizza chain Marco’s Pizza has launched its first New Jersey outlet in Somerset, marking the brand’s entry into the Central Jersey market.
The restaurant is located at 1135 Easton Avenue.
The Somerset location is operated by franchisee Teepu Khan, a restaurant industry veteran with long-standing experience running large-scale outlets for national brands such as KFC, Pizza Hut and Dunkin'.
Khan said: “I've always loved the pizza category, but I saw how the industry was changing. When I discovered Marco's, I knew it was different.
“The quality, operational standards, and passion behind the brand reminded me why I fell in love with this business in the first place.
“Now, I want to create strong local teams and lasting community connections. Marco's gives me the opportunity to do that with a product and a culture I believe in.”
Khan currently operates four Marco’s Pizza locations – three in Houston and the new Somerset restaurant – and plans to expand his footprint further.
According to the company, he intends to develop at least seven additional outlets across New Jersey and the five boroughs of New York City.
The Somerset store’s menu includes pizzas alongside items such as Marco’s Pizzoli, CheezyBread, bone-in and boneless chicken wings in Buffalo, Garlic Parmesan and BBQ flavours, as well as salads and desserts.
Customers can order via carryout and delivery, with app-based and online ordering also available.
In September last year, Marco’s Pizza finalised a franchise agreement for three new units in Germantown, Maryland and surrounding areas.
