Restaurant technology provider MenuSifu has joined forces with hiring and payroll platform Workstream, designed for the hourly workforce.
The partnership will result in the addition of Workstream’s workforce management capabilities to MenuSifu’s existing technology stack.
MenuSifu's ecosystem currently covers point-of-sale (POS) systems, payments, online ordering, automation and AI-based analytics.
The collaboration formally begins on 10 December 2025, while a complete integration of Workstream’s tools into MenuSifu’s platform is scheduled for early 2026.
Once completed, the companies expect restaurant users to be able to handle end-to-end employee management - from hiring through to payroll - directly within MenuSifu’s connected suite.
MenuSifu co-founder and CEO William Wang stated: "This partnership reflects our mission to empower restaurants with connected, future-ready technology.
"Workstream shares our belief that success starts with people. Together, we're giving operators a simpler, smarter way to grow their teams and their businesses."
MenuSifu, founded in 2014, primarily serves Asian restaurants across the US.
It works with more than 15,000 operators nationwide.
The partnership marks an extension of its ecosystem to incorporate mobile-first hiring and HR automation.
It aligns with MenuSifu’s stated roadmap to bring AI, automation and financing tools into a unified ecosystem for restaurant businesses.
Workstream CEO Desmond Lim said: "Workstream and MenuSifu both serve the heartbeat of the restaurant industry — independent operators.
"By connecting hiring and HR directly with MenuSifu's operations platform, we're helping restaurants hire faster, retain longer and build stronger teams for the future."
Workstream entered a partnership with CKE Restaurants, the parent company of Carl’s Jr and Hardee’s, in 2023.
