US-headquartered technology company Rattle Tech has introduced Table Signals Alerts, a QR code-based communication platform aimed at helping restaurants and other hospitality venues manage table service more efficiently.

The system is designed for use in restaurants, bars, cafés and nightclubs, and allows customers to request assistance by scanning a QR code displayed on their table.

Guests can use the code to ask for drink top-ups, bill, cutlery or other support, eliminating the need to download a dedicated app.

They can also send tailored messages to their server to outline specific requirements.

Once a request is submitted, it appears immediately on staff devices through a centralised dashboard. The interface is intended to help front-of-house teams track, organise and respond to multiple requests during busy trading periods.

Rattle Tech CEO Emmanuel Mathew said: “Restaurants today need tools that are fast to deploy, easy to use, and require zero hardware.

“Table Signals Alerts was designed to solve exactly that challenge - enabling smoother communication between guests and staff with a single scan.”

Alongside the platform, the company is rolling out VIP Access, a feature designed to maintain a direct line of communication with guests after their visit.

Diners can sign up and then begin receiving messages from the venue on their phones.

Mathew added: “With our VIP feature, guests can sign up in seconds and start receiving exclusive offers, updates, and promotions through notifications.

“It’s a simple way to keep customers engaged and encourage repeat visits by delivering value directly to their phones.”

Using VIP Access, restaurants can set up their own promotions, limited-time deals and loyalty incentives aimed at encouraging repeat business.

The tech company noted that Table Signals Alerts is available for download via the App Store and Google Play Store.
