Sodexo has won a contract from Meta to provide food services across the technology company’s global estate.

The agreement covers more than 130 locations in over 30 countries, spanning all regions.

In a statement, the French catering group said the contract includes catering operations in a wide variety of settings, including conference centres, corporate offices, data centres, large campuses and smaller office sites.

The company said services will be introduced gradually over the coming months.

Sodexo described the deal as one of the largest standalone global workplace food services contracts it has secured so far.

It added the contract followed a “highly competitive” global tender process.

Under the arrangement, Sodexo will supply integrated workplace food services through a global operating model, supported by digital and data tools.

Sustainability was a key part of the selection process and will be built into the programme, Sodexo added.

Sodexo CEO Thierry Delaporte said: “This success was driven by our people, anchored in strong leadership commitment and a 60-year heritage of hospitality services. Meta’s ambition for exceptional culinary experiences everywhere they operate aligns perfectly with our proven expertise to deliver at scale.

“This contract win is a reflection of the level of commercial intensity Sodexo can unlock when our global team come together to build the right offer and showcase our global capabilities. It shows our ability to convert wide-scale competitive tenders into material growth opportunities.”

In April, Sodexo reduced its guidance for fiscal 2026 (FY26), warning of weaker sales growth after highlighting internal execution problems and the impact of a review of its contracts and assets.

The company now anticipates organic revenue growth of between 0.5% and 1%, a reduction from its previous projection of 1.5% to 2.5%.
